I am an assistant professor at SUStech, Department of Mathematics.

I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from U Houston under the supervision of  Prof. Andrew Török

I was a Hale visiting assistant professor at Georgia Tech, School of Mathematics, working under Prof. Leonid Bunimovich

and was a research fellow of Prof. Carlangelo Liverani at Rome Tor Vergata, Department of Mathematics

My research focuses on Dynamical systems, ergodic theory, probability theory.  More precisely, open dynamical systems, hyperbolic dynamical systems, ergodic theory, probabilistic limit theorems of dynamical systems, and their applications to physics, neural networks.

I am currently involved in the applied dynamics group of "Dynamics for AI" hosted by Prof Hongkun Zhang (tenured professor of  University of Massachusetts) and Prof Zhihong Xia (tenured professor of Northwestern University).  Many phenomena in the real world can be regarded as the evolutions of dynamical systems. We use AI to discover new structures in complex systems (e.g.  neural networks), etc.

If you want to pursue your PhD in our applied dynamics group, do not hesitate to email me.
