Abstract

We adopt a central-upwind scheme using flux globalization to approximate a quasi-linear hyperbolic system of chemotaxis. This scheme is well-balanced at the steady states of the system, and handles properly solutions containing vacuum. We present some numerical tests to verify the ability of the proposed scheme.
