In this talk, we will employ PNP-type equations to investigate the ion transport in nanomaterials. Multi-scale idea is used so that such equations enjoy both accuracy and efficiency. Apart from showing numerical results, we also adopt spectral and functional analysis to show the various formations of ion layers, rings and chains inside those materials. The current methodology is stable in comparison to the celebrating Lattice Boltzmann Method. Last but not least, other issues related to the topic will be discussed in the talk.
