Abstract

In this talk, we will firstly recall some basic materials about the bounded derived categories on some rational homogeneous varieties. Then we will show how to generalize C.Vial’s characterization of projective spaces to quadrics. At last, we will discuss the relation between bounded derived category and simple birational maps, and propose some open problems about this topic.
