Abstract
I this talk we consider translating solutions of mean curvature flows (MCFs) in cylinders. First I will talk about the background of such flows, and specify the difficulty in the mathematical study in this field. Then I will report three kinds of problems: the flows with constant boundary slopes; the flows with periodic boundary slopes; the flows with Robin boundary conditions. I will show the difference caused by the dimension and the driving force.
