Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss how local defect data at a marked point controls Strominger–Yau–Zaslow and topological mirror symmetries for parabolic Hitchin systems of classical groups. I will explain how the local input data (nilpotent orbit) governs the Hitchin base and the geometry of generic Hitchin fibers. This talk is based on joint works with Bin Wang and Xueqing Wen.
