Stochastic properties of expanding circle maps and their Lyapunov exponents

Abstract

During my lectures, I will discuss the stochasticity of expanding circle maps and Lyapunov exponents of their periodic orbits.
It turns out that not only does the expanding circle map have strong chaotic properties, but also the distribution of the Lyapunov exponents of periodic orbits exhibits stochasticity. This is based on joint work with Drach, Fu, Li, and Liverani.
