Recent developments in quantum invariants in dimension three
Abstract: We will give a brief introduction in quantum
invariants of
knots and
3-manifolds, and discuss examples some recent developments connecting their
analytic and asymptotic properties with string theory and quantum hyperbolic geometry. Joint work
