Mysterious Jupiter and the Juno spacecraft mission

As the largest planet in the solar system, Jupiter has always been highly prominent in scientific research. In particular, the fascinating alternating, fast cloud level zonal winds on Jupiter have been accurately measured for several decades but their origin and maintenance have been a major scientific puzzle and still remain highly controversial.
