Talk 1: Gelfand-Kirillov dimension in p-adic Langlands program
Talk 2: On the mod p cohomology for GL2
In the first talk, I will explain this notion for mod p and p-adic representations of p-adic groups, and explain a control theorem of the Gelfand-Kirillov dimension for mod p representations of GL(2) and its application in the p-adic Langlands program.
In the second talk, I will prove an upper bound for some mod p smooth representations of GL(2) coming from cohomology of Shimura curves and discuss the main steps of the proof.
